Families Can Move Together

Get in the holiday spirit by adding physical activity to your family festivities! Share our fun ideas to get families moving together:

1. Family Physical Activity Night
Designate a weekly “Family Fitness Day.” Pick a physical activity (i.e. walking, bicycling, jogging, etc.) that everyone can enjoy.

2. Exercise Video Night
When there’s a chill in the air, invite the entire family to warm up with an exercise DVD. Families that sweat together are healthy together!

3. Family Choice Night
Take turns having each family member select their favorite physical activity, and everyone participates.

4. Active Commercial Breaks
During each commercial, challenge each family member to complete a round of moves (i.e. 10 jumping jacks, 20 air jump ropes, 20 sit ups, 15 squats, 10 push-ups, 15 lunges).
